Margaret Graham

she/her

Therapist

I found my way to Nerva and clinical hypnotherapy for GI disorders the way I’ve identified all of my niche areas for my private practice: it’s both personal and professional for me. I’ve had my own gut issues, and I’ve scrambled through the maze of so many solutions only to hit dead-ends. Hypnotherapy has helped me (and my clients!) in ways I didn’t even think I could hope for, let alone experience. Serious healing can come through the emotional and subconscious realms. I’m a pragmatist – a realist even, but I’m also a believer in hypnotherapy. I’ve studied the science, and I also recognize there’s some element of mystique in this realm, and I actually love that dimension. I’ve been a therapist for >10 years, a certified coach for longer than that, and I’ve worked via telehealth for years – pre-pandemic, before it was cool. I have training and years of practice in evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, and clinical hypnotherapy, and I’ve also got the most important treatment approach of all: individualization. I want to hear what’s going on with you, and I promise that I won’t throw formulas at you – together we’ll craft an approach to your care that fits for you.
